Manuela Romeo graduated from Bologna University - Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators in Forlì, with a BA in ‘Translation and Liaison Interpreting’ and an MA in ‘Conference Interpreting’.
She runs her own business under the name of ‘The Language Lab’, working as a freelance translator and interpreter with solid background in fashion, apparel and textiles, legal & business, marketing & communication.
Her current teaching assignments as a University Lecturer and Teacher of ESL/FSL include
- EN>IT Translation Studies and Consecutive Interpreting techniques as part of the Undergraduate programs for Interpreters, Translators and Cultural Mediators held in Bologna and Florence
- English and French for High School students - Grammar, Conversation, Literature and Technical Language
- Business English for Executives and Professionals
- Cambridge PET/KET exam preparation for Primary and Secondary schools
- English for beginners and Intermediate students as part of life-long learning programs
